About Us
GrandZen Equestrian provides lessons at Sun Valley Farms.
We specialize in hunter-jumper riding under the training of Abby Dumrauf.
We strive to create a family-like atmosphere where students learn to be self-reliant in all aspects of riding, both on and off horses.
Lesson and training programs are offered to give students options to reach their personal goals.
When you are ready, we can put together a selection of horses for lease or purchase.
Our clients are not required to attend shows; however, competition is strongly recommended
for the rider's advancement.
Meet the Trainer
Abby grew up in San Diego and starting riding at the age of 5. She spent the last 10 years training at a local show barn, and in addition to her personal training and horse show competitions, she was entrusted with helping younger riders, caring for/schooling horses, as well as being an instrumental part of horse show set-up and everyday operations. She worked at multiple barns in the area and is widely known for her hard-work, positive attitude, and passion for teaching others.
